KnowYourNeck ("we", "us", or "our") operates the KnowYourNeck web and mobile applications. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

• Account information — your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
• User-generated content — licks and note sequences you save in the app.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active Pro subscription, managed via RevenueCat.
• Usage data — which Pro features you have used, to enforce free-tier limits.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app and your account.
• To save and sync your licks across devices.
• To process and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. email confirmation, password reset).

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Supabase — authentication and database storage. Privacy policy
• RevenueCat — subscription management. Privacy policy
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Privacy policy
• Google Sign-In — optional OAuth sign-in. Privacy policy

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase's hosted Postgres database, protected by row-level security so only you can access your own data. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

KnowYourNeck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
